Dana is a photographer who mainly focuses on film. “There is magic in film” she says, as she sits next to her collection of cameras and flips through albums with film rolls.

Her day usually starts early in the morning when she drinks coffee and heads out for a photo shoot or to train at the gym. “Afternoons are usually spent working on the computer, preparing a cup of coffee, and sitting down to edit and go through the photos. I mainly focus on fashion shoots or small, intimate weddings. I love capturing moments with the camera and telling the story through the eyes and the lens.”

While talking, she reminisces about her first photo on film when she went on a photo trip to Rome, capturing an Italian bride and groom on the Spanish Steps.

Dana talks about the beginning of her journey, feeling like the profession simply chose her. “I remember myself as a little girl going to newsstands and magazines, flipping through Vogue and searching for the most beautiful photos and buying them,” she says with a smile. “Those were my textbooks.”

She says that the clothing cuts can fit everyone, and she sees the precise development that suits many types of women. “Initially, I envision how I would photograph the garment and how I would bring out its best.”
